We are thinking about vacationing in Myrtle Beach during spring break week of April 8th. Has anyone stayed at the Dayton House? Read the reviews looks like it is nice. How is the view from the sideview and angle side view? We want to save a little money.

Dayton House is a good value. Basic rooms but very well kept property. Clean %26amp; in a central location.

Can%26#39;t comment on the side or angle view. We%26#39;re obsessive about ocean front.

South Tower the side view is fine (not sure what angle view is)

North Tower - you will be facing another building unless you are up on one of higher floors Tower

Meant to say the South Tower angle rooms are better - they are at 45 degree angle vs sideview which is at 90 degree (straight ahead)

We get the oceanfront two room king end suites when staying at the Dayton House. Good value, clean rooms but the south end view is better than the north end view, to us. Being on the end also cuts down on the hallway noise which is inportant to us since I%26#39;m a very light sleeper.

I think the Dayton House stays pretty booked up so you might not want to wait until the last minute to make your reservations.

We have also stayed at the Hampton Inn Oceanfront which is a really nice hotel too.
