Has anyone heard of.....................

a restaurant named Garcia%26#39;s Southwest Grill? We are heading down in February and someone told my wife about this place. Any board members ever been there? Any help would bre greatly appreciated!!

I looked in the phone book and do not see a listing for Garcia%26#39;s, however, we have a new steak house that just opened couple months ago, RIOZ Brazilan Steak House, across the street from Braodway at the Beach, I believe 29th Ave N. Have heard good things about it, its unlimited steak, you pay one price, eat all you want, Its not a Ryans or Golden Corral, its a nicer place. Good and plentiful seafood, head up to Calabash NC on the waterfront or Murrells Inlet.

Couldn%26#39;t find it on Restuarant Review site.Over on FunBeaches board I found a Garcia%26#39;s mentioned. Sounds like it moved in the last year and may be causing some confusion.

Address they gave is 6401 North Kings Highway. One person says it%26#39;s at Restuarant Row and another says it isn%26#39;t. I%26#39;ll drop a note and see where it actually is.

Sounds like it%26#39;s good Mexican food at a real reasonable price.

We saw it in September. I think it was near Carolina Roadhouse. It looked busy (which is a good sign).

There used to be a Garcia%26#39;s in another NMB location that closed down. We figured the must have reopened in a new location.

Funny we lived about mile from Carolina Roadhouse, I don%26#39;t remember Garcia%26#39;s but then there are 1800 restaurants. Carolina Roadhouse is good, we eat there frequently. I will have to check it out next time I am on Business 17

Garcia%26#39;s was at one time a pretty big ';hot spot'; locally...and was located up in the restaurant row area....just off Lake Arrowhead Road...they relocated earlier this year to a place that I swear is jinxed (seems like no one does well there!)...they are there on Kings Hwy not far from Caraba%26#39;s (1 block south) in the 6400 block of Kings Hwy.....hate to say it,the margaritas are good...but, as for mexican or tex-mex food...there are a number of better options...almost across the street (well in the 71st ave block) is a place called Fiesta Mexicana...really good food there, plus $2 margaritas!

Agree with MBConcierge ,Fiesta Mexicana is good.Can%26#39;t go wrong with just about anything she recommends.

Ahhhh, no wonder you don%26#39;t remember it near Carolina Roadhouse. I do remember now it is Carabbas.

Glad to hear MBConcierge input. Will probably stick with Fiesta Mexicano.
