Beach Colony Resort

Anyone recenly rent a 2 bdrm suite if so how where the rooms?Also do they have beach chairs available at the beach or do you have to rent them? Any information would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Forest Dunes is a sister hotel of Beach Colony that has 3-bedroom units for comparative prices. Beach Colony has been squeezed in by construction on each side while Forest Dunes has great unobstructed views from the 6th floor up.Compare rates and ask if its ok to use any of the Beach Colony facilities while staying at Forest Dunes.They are about 600 yards apart.

I last stayed there a year ago. The 2br suites are generally good. It really depends on the unit, as they are individually owned.

If you are concerned about the view, I would recommend that you stay away from the ocean view 2BR units. They are located on the south side, and their view has become somewhat obstructed by the new Dunes Village Resort.

You would be better served to reserve the angle oceanfront 2BR, or the Oceanfront 2BR. Either of these options are true oceanfront units. and worth the money. I hope the exchange rate isn%26#39;t too bad.

I didnt realize there were that many choices of rooms, hopefully we chose the right one for us. Thanks for the information I will have to check them out. Have you heard of anyone directly dealing with the owners themselves instead?
