Restaurant recommendation?

Can anyone make the recommendation for a nice restaurant for a romantic birthday dinner? I will be in HH from December 2 to 9.

Thank you!

I must assume you are looking for a place that has good food, but is not crowded or noisy.

The Lowry Group runs several restaurants that fill the bill.

1 - CQ%26#39;s is in Harbortown. The building is an old ';Tabby'; style building that was brought to Harbortown when SeaPines was constructed. The menu runs from Seafood to Steaks but the chef specializes in Game. So you can find Venison, Quail and other entrees not normally found in you average restaurant. They have a resident ghost %26#39;The Blue Lady';.

2 - The Ocean Grill - this restarant specializes in Seafood, much of which is fresh. The views are of Shelter Cove Marina and the harbor.

3 - The Old Fort Pub - this is located in Hilton Head Plantation next to the ruins of Fort Mitchell, a civil war encampment. You have views of Port Royal Sound and the Intercoastal.

Another nice restaurant is La Normandie. This is a fine french restaurant run by a couple who recently came here from France. It is located in the South Island Square shopping center.

Next door is Floras, another nice restaurant, which serves Italian cuisine.

For more ideas put ';Great Restaurants in the Search area of the forum and you%26#39;ll find some more recommendations.

Old Fort Pub is the best for the combo food, setting and ambiance, Charlie%26#39;s Crab nice. Summertime the Sunset Cafe is spectacular bout would have to go way to early to enjoy a December sunset. If you choose Old Fort or Charlies, make sure that you hold out for a window table.

Old Fort PUb seems perfect!! thank you so much for the tip on the window seat. I think I am going to follow dinner with a set at the Jazz corner.
