Romantic Mountain Getaway

My fiance and I are going for a 3-day, long weekend getaway to the mountains. We have some events in our lives to celebrate, but because it%26#39;s only a 3-day weekend and we have to drop our 2 year old off at the grandparents house in the Greenville (Greer) area we don%26#39;t want to spend too much time on the road. I%26#39;m envisioning cuddling up somewhere romantic by a fire with a hot tub and some wine.

Can anyone make suggestions: places (little cities, towns, areas OR hotels, B%26amp;Bs, cabins, etc.), restaurants, things to do-- I%26#39;m really open to anything at this point and need some guidance!!! But I do want to do this in the next month or two... maybe even in the next week or two if possible!

THANKS!

Check out a cabin at the Oconee State Park above Walhalla City. It is about an hour from Greenville in the mountains and has a lake where there is good fishing and each cabin has a fireplace with wood. They even have a good restruant in the park.We have stayed there several times and really enjoy our time there. You can get their phone number by looking under Walhalla City.

Try one of the fine B %26amp; B%26#39;s in Hendersonville - less than an hour from Greenville but a world away! Best wishes.
