kid friendly dinner boat

Anyone know of a kid friendly dinner boat?? I thought that would be something fun to do while we are there.

Thanks!

We don%26#39;t have dinner boats like I think you are talking about, we have a Jungle Tour Boat at Barefootbs Landing that does have a buffet I believe it goes on the Intracoastal Waterway and I am sure children are welcome on that one. Otherwise, I know MBConceirge knows more about MB than I do but I cant think of one other than that. There are plenty of fishing boats and we have 2 casino boats.

That%26#39;s the only ';dinner'; cruise I can think of.right here in MB...they are located right there at Barefoot Landing, and the boat is kinda neat...looks very ';Buffett'; like...ha! They cruise the intercoastal waterway...which isnt real exciting, but it is fun if you have never done it before...and for a kid, just being on a boat, cruising, can really be a blast.

They do offer a number of different cruises...sightseeing, sunset, dinner, moonlight and a ghost/pirate cruise that especially targets the youger set....the fee, I think, is about $35 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under....check out their website at www.mbriverboat.com or access thru Barefoots site....www.bflanding.com

Another option would be down in the Georgetown area...which is about 30 to 40 minutes south of MB. The Jolly Rover is a tall ship replica, so its pretty awesome..they dont really do a true dinner cruise (but there are some fantastic places to eat along the waterfront there in Georgetown!) but do offer a Sunset Cruise and the Pirate Cruise (which I LOVE!!) check them at at www.rovertours.com.

If you would rather ';head out to sea'; you have a few cruises available there....not dinner cruises tho (and the casino boats are great, but do not allow kids aboard...sorrry) Hurricane Fleet does a great ';Adventure Cruise'; which allows you to see dolphins, our coastline, and a working trawler up close and personal....www.hurricanefleet.com. They go out of Calabash which is just across the NC/SC border about 30 minutes north of MB....in the opposite direction is Capt Dicks...they are located in Murrells Inlet (another GREAT place to find a wonderful place to eat!) they also offer an adventure type cruise...www.captdicks.com

And, I agree...what a fun way to spend a day!
