We are visiting Myrtle Beach for the 1st time during the last week of August 2007 with 2 teenagers. We are looking at the Roxanne and the Breakers Paradise Towers. I know MB is busy during this time, but the kids will love it, I%26#39;m sure. Any suggestions as to which place might be better. Any other suggestions. We are travelling from London, Ontario so we want to make the right choice. Glad to hear from anyone!

The Breakers Paradise or the Roxanne....I think between the 2 of those properties I would lean towards The Breakers. Really nice property (Paradise Towers), and the location works well for families with teens. You have a number of places to grab a bite to eat within walking distance, ice cream and a Starbucks across the street....a great little beachfront Bar and Grille (Bummz) with live music and kareoke....and just a short bus or car ride to Broadway at the Beach (or a nice walk, maybe 30 minutes)...August is a great time here, all of the attractions are st ill opened, but the crowds arent as heavy as the middle of July.
