Does anyone know how Long Bay views are set up?

I was wondering if North view or south view of the beach is a better view?Wanted to know before i book a room.Do you think if you book a north view you might have a view of the sub waterpark? In the picture it shows 2 smaller type hotels in front of the larger one.Which rooms are these if anyone knows? Thanks.

Well Myrtle Beach is not on a bay and the view north is just about the same as the view south. Just lots and lots of hotels. Myrtle is definately a tourist destination like a Atlantic City or Daytona Beach. So the big draw is all the activities and not the views. But South Caroina has some very scenic areas. Hilton Head is about 3-4 hours south in between Charelston and Savannah and I think its is a very pretty town with a very natural beach. But you are not going to have all the family activities as Myrtle. Hope this helps

north views are better for sunrise %26amp; southview for sunsets.

yes, there is a low-rise property in front of the southeast corner of the building that blocks the view up to about the fourth floor...better ask about that if view is important to you. Also, the new addition on the Coral Reef (sister property just south of Long Bay) may eat up the views from the southwest rooms.

Agree with Daddio....if you are an early riser, and love to sit on your balcony with that cup of coffee and watch the sun rise...go with the north view (and not as much ';building'; interference!)....north is also good for the moon rises....esp. if its a full moon! I prefer watching the sunsets while sitting on the beach....you get more of the effect of the changing colors on the water the closer you are...and the sun actually sits ';behind'; the hotels (west)...not for sure if you can see the waterpark from the north view....but some of the rooms on hte north side may have that option.

:)

Thanks I think that helps a lot.
