I%26#39;ll be attending a conference in late February. The conference hotel is the FM, but I%26#39;ve read mixed reviews on this property. Would I be better off at the nearby Hampton or perhaps another nearby alternative? Unless there%26#39;s a significant difference, it would be more convenient to stay at the FM, as it is conference headquarters.
Francis Marion vs. Historic Hampton or another alternative
If you decide to stay at the Francis Marion make sure to ask for one of the renovated rooms!! The redone rooms are very nice and spacious. Other options would be the Hampton Inn which is a nice hotel too, the Embassy Suites or the Holiday Inn.
