Where should we stay in Beaufort??

My husband and I need to plan a 3 day trip to Beaufort. What would you suggest as the nicest place to stay there?

Hi Janie: You should try The Old Point Inn, at 212 New Street in Beaufort! We stayed there for our first trip to Beaufort last May, and we loved it! It%26#39;s a gorgeous old place, inside and out, decorated with classy, eclectic taste. The owners, Paul and Julie Michau, have travelled extensively and are great conversationalists and very helpful with local info. We had booked the Seafarer Room because of our limited budget, but when we saw the Old World Room, we just HAD to have that one, and were able to switch. It%26#39;s a lovely room, with your own access to the veranda (just watch the hammock, first time hammock users!!! I rolled right out of it...). It%26#39;s a B%26amp;B, and the delicious breakfasts are enough to last you thru to dinner (or at least a very late lunch). We visited from our home state of CT and loved the southern hospitality and beauty of the area so much we moved to SC in September! Enjoy your trip!!
