Where is the best place to see dolphins? Is the hurricane fleet a reliable business? How far do they take you out in the ocean? How rough is the water will my kids get sea sick?

I think the Adventure Cruise is a great thing to do with the kids....and they do not go out if the seas are much over 2-3 feet. They go out approx 3 miles (you can still see land...ha!) One neat thing is that they pull up to a working trawler and you get to see some of the sea life that they pull up...its very educational (without knowing your being educated!) I have used this company on numberous occasions and have found them to be very professional and courteous! They also do fishing charters...which is also alot of fun! I love the full day charter going out to the gulfstream where the water is almost like your in the islands!
As far as getting seasick...you may want to come prepared with some of the motion sickness patches...available in most local pharmacies.

Dolphin watching?We have seen dolphins off the balcony before in March
anywhere in the ocean and south of the little river swing bridge. you can watch the weather report the day before you plan to go and if you see a report of seas 4 to 5 feet dont go that day. 2 -3 ft ok .
