HELP? Trip Dec st to 4th RESTAURANTS? 2 Small Children...

if you read some of the recent posts on restaurants most of the good ones are are covered. you will beed reservations for the 6 for the evening meals, if still available.

I am not a poogan%26#39;s fan - it is OK, but many other better. for lunches i would try Cru Cafe, i LOVE the food, even jestine%26#39;s or joseph%26#39;s. these are quick, easy and kid friendly with good food.

if the children are well behaved i would try peninsula grill, cru cafe or oak for dinner. they will all accommodate. peninsula grill the best, reasonably priced and the exit to outside is just steps in case you need to take one of them to the courtyard and let them stretch legs and let of some steam in between courses. easy to do.

other good chocies basil, sermet%26#39;s for lunch or dinner, much easier with kids, louder more casual places

you have so many chocies, read the forums and you will make great decisions.

you might also consider vickery%26#39;s, cypress and blossom

Friday night dinner: Seafood is a must with kids downtown and you want it nice, I would try Pen Grill, as suggested; also A.W. Shuck%26#39;s which isn%26#39;t white-tablecloth nice, but still a good place for kids and seafood. Hank%26#39;s is great for seafood, and well behaved children can go, but you would need to make a reservation and make them aware that there are children.

Saturday early lunch: I am also not a fan of Poogan%26#39;s porch. If you want a chain restuarant there is Bubba Gumps. But, Sermet%26#39;s corner or Sticky Fingers would be good, both more lunch than brunch. California Dreaming is great for kids, but you do have to drive a little over the Ashley River. Blossom may be have a brunch.

Saturday early dinner: Again, Sermet%26#39;s or Sticky Fingers. Jestine%26#39;s Kitchen is great, but could be crowded. Blossom also recommended highly.

Sunday Lunch. See any of the above.

Sunday dinner: OAK!!!!!

Hope you get some ideas.
