What will the weather and the crowds be like around March 16th - March 20th?

Crowds are not too bad, golfers and snowbirds still. Some spring breakers but the weather can be quite chilly 50%26#39;s-60%26#39;s. So it kind of depends what you are wanting to do. Crowds are nothing like they are beginning May thru Sept.

We are there for a cheer competition. I didn%26#39;t realize it would be so cold at that time.

Remember the days, Dance and Cheer competitions, glad they are over! Myrtle Beach is great place for competitions. I am sure the girls will want warm weather and laying out is probably not going to happen unless they don%26#39;t mind being covered up. Just have to spend time at Broadway at the Beach shopping and looking at boys.

The crowds will be very minium. The highs in the 60%26#39;s. It may be in the 70%26#39;s some days if you get lucky.

Our last trip to MB was during the third week of March. The warmest it got was about 68 degrees. One day we woke up and turned on the Weather Channel and it was 39 degrees outside! It was actually warmer here at home! When we went to Charleston for a day trip the carriage driver gave us blankets to wrap up in. We didn%26#39;t go out on the beach in our swimsuits very often, that%26#39;s for sure!

However, on the flip side of that, there were absolutely no crowds anywhere that we went. It was a great time to go in terms of not having to wait in lines, etc. There was a storm one day while we were there and the most awesome marine life washed up on the beach. I%26#39;ve never seen that during the warm season while we were there.

It was cold but we had a great time!!

It sounds like there is a lot of stuff to do besides going to the beach, so it should be fun. Thanks everyone!

Crowds are sparce and the weather is very nice normally if the wind isn%26#39;t blowing hard. March is a turnaround month and temperatures could range from 30-80 with the average high for March at 68 degrees F and the average low is 44F. By the way, the average high this week is in the mid 60s.

Do take your swimsuits. The sun in March is fairly strong. You might get some good tanning time, especially if you are in a location where you can block the wind off the ocean.
