Locals ( MBConcierge, etc...) We%26#39;re coming down Christmas Day - what restaurants do you think might be open for dinner?( Waffle House!? LOL) We%26#39;re staying in the 67th Ave. area. Also - what Christmas shows are good this year? We%26#39;d like to catch a couple that week if possible. Thanks so much!

Your options for dining will definately be limited on Christmas evening...most hotel restaurants will serve a limited menu, so that might be a better option that the Waffle House... :) I think last year that some of the seafood buffets stayed opened til at least 7pm...Captain George%26#39;s was one of them.
As for Christmas shows...I have really enjoyed them all. Probably this seasons fav for me would be the Legends In Concert..love the Dean Martin they have there, and Marilyn Monroe...along with Buddy Holly, Liza Minelli and of course, Elvis. Of course, the Christmas show at Carolina Opry always gets great reviews, as does Dixie Stampede, and Alabama Theatre.....and the new one on the list this year is The Grande Cirque at the Palace...and its mesmerizing!

Thanks for the reply - we saw Le Grande Cirque last month but is the Christmas show really that different? Won%26#39;t the 12 Irish Tenors be at the Palace that week? RE: Dining.... maybe I%26#39;ll just fix a lasagna in the condo! That would be better anyway!
Actually the 12 Irish Tenors will be there Dec 28th thru the 30th...you can catch Dean Martin%26#39;s act a few days prior to that (which is also very good)....guess the Grande Cirque ends Dec 16th....
