Let me start out by saying that I am trying to help out a friend. They went to MB last year for the first time and really enjoyed their trip. She seems to recall seeing a second row hotel that had a fenced in ';waterpark'; type of outdoor swimming area that was painted wth very bright colors, I believe orange and Blue is what she said, but now she is unable to remember the name of it.
She thought it was called the Seamist, but after checking out the internet, she said that was not the name. Can anyone help out with this question? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds exactly like Sea Mist, the resort is painted the orange and blue, on South Ocean Blvd. It is one of the older resorts on that end of the Blvd. The water park is across the street from the ocean.

It sounds like Sra Mist to me also.
That is Sea Mist. Very Orange and Blue.
But I have heard bad reviews about the hotel itself. There are other hotels that have nice pool attraction for the kids that would be better than Sea Mist.
MrsMaryland, do you know exactly why the Seamist has gotten bad reviews? Is there some sort of link to reviews where she could check out the reviews? Does anybody know if the Seamist has it%26#39;s own website? Any further help would be wonderful! Thanks!!!
Do a google search for Sea Mist Resort, Myrtle Beach SC. The reviews do sound pretty bad, but they seem to indicate that the place was undergoing a renovation.
And, if your friend was looking for Seamist, that%26#39;s why she couldn%26#39;t find it. It%26#39;s two words. Sea Mist.
have stayed at the sea mist 4 or 5 times and never had any problems...staff was always friendly and the rooms although not 5 star can be comfy for anyone.
