Sea Island Inn

Is there any close restaurants close to the Sea Island Inn? Are there any oceanfront with views? Any place close to have a drink during the evening? How close is it to Boardwalk at the Beach? Is Sea Island a good choice for a first time visitor to MB?

I forgot to ask. Are there any miniture golfs close to Sea Island Inn? Any other type of entertainment within walking distance?

Sea Island Inn

Sea Island is a very good choice and it does have its own restaurant with ocean views.Also with ocean views is The Sea Captains House about 4 miles to the south.

Restaurants within 3 miles or less are Carolina Roadhouse,Villa Mare,Cheeseburger in Paradise,Bonefish Grille and Fiesta Mexicana($2 lime margarita).

Also about 7 miles north is Hamburger Joes.Great burgers and cheap drinks with a back porch view of a salt marsh.Its right across from Barefoot Landing.In Barefoot is a Jackalope Steakhouse.

Broadway At The Beach is about 5 miles from Sea Island and my favorite restaurant there is Landry%26#39;s.

Theres a cluster of hotels less than a mile to the north and most of them have bars where you can get a drink at night or go right up on to 17 and there are more choices.

There%26#39;s mini golf on 17 with 3 or 4 between 48th and 21st. heading south.Dragons Lair has 2 courses at Broadway At The Beach.

I believe Sea Island is a great choice because of its location

which is in the middle of the major attractions. There are no high-rise hotels next to it so the views should be very good and all rooms are still new and should be in good shape.

There is really no entertainment within walking distance.
