Stayed at Windy Shores in the same room for years. What%26#39;s the question?

Windcrest Villas or Windy Shores II ??

I am thinking of staying at Windy Shores and would love any info you can give me. Is barefootlanding close? Any other atttractions? Are the buildings nice? Balcony private? Pool nice? Do you have any pics I could see? I have read that some were being renovated. I am thinking of going through Elliot Realty. Thanks for any information.

My family and I stayed there for several years in a third floor room. Our stay was done through Condo World. It is right at Barefoot Landing and one of the cool things about it was the fact that the road ended right at it, so there was no traffic barrelling down the street. The downside...and it%26#39;s a big one...is the parking. There is not enough spaces for all the tenants so there%26#39;s an overflow lot a BLOCK from it. Parking is not good at all. It%26#39;s a traditional (wood) condo but has an elevator. It%26#39;s nice enough but parking got to be such a hassle that we ended up not going back a year or so ago. The pool was nice. It was relatively quiet. The beach was a good one as well, since the parasailers were right out front. We did that a couple of times.

Thanks for the information. The barefootlanding area is great but you do have me wondering about the parking now..... I am not sure I want to park my car a block down. When did you usually go there? We were thinking spring but we may change our mind to Sept now. Maybe that would help with the parking.

We stay at Windyshores 2. Parking is tight at times. Never had to use overflow. Returning late gets you to over flow. Which is only 300%26#39; away. Nice clean complex. Good value for the money. Great pool area. Last condo in Windy hill. End of road. Vacant land to the North. Beach not too crowded. Banana boats, jet skis and para sailing in front of vacant land. Middle of June for us. easy to get to.

WindyShores 1 is next door. It is a smaller complex.

Open area to the right or north of Windy Shores is Atlantic Beach section. Undeveloped beach front. Windy Shores is probably the least crowded stretch of beach in NMB.

Scroll the the left or south a couple blocks you%26#39;ll see Windcrest Villas.
