Our daughter has a music audtion at USC the first weekend in December. Any recommendations on where to stay? Also any places we should make sure she sees to get a feel for the college life there. We visited the campus this summer and it is beautiful. Must have been the hottest day in July! But she likes hot, so that is a good thing.

Hampton Inn Downtown on Gervais Street. It%26#39;s in the Vista area, lots of restaurants, walking distance to the State Capital.

The Inn at USC is on campus and VERY VERY nice. Ditto the Hampton Inn suggestion as well.
