Have stayed in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach and love NMB. We have previously stayed at the MeanC but we do not need such a large house/Condo this time. We are looking for a small condo with pool and all the other ammenities W/D etc. Anyone have any suggestions or has anyone stayed at either place?

Windcrest Villas or Windy Shores II ???
Both of these are in the Windy Hill section (southern part of NMB). Both buildings are somewhat %26#39;dated%26#39; inside and out. There are many units for rent in each building, so take a close look at pictures on web sites (Elliott) to get the most updated one. If all you are looking for is a view and a pool, these will be fine. I personally prefer the Cherry Grove section of NMB, but this area is nice also.

my parents own a condo at windcrest villas. we lease through elliot realty. we%26#39;re in the process of upgrading our condo. (put in new carpet, replacing mattresses, etc) several owners are very involved in improving the building and facilities. i agree with the other poster about looking at the pictures of the different apartments.
