Ketch Court Villas OR Bluff Villas

My husband and I are making our first trip to Hilton Head Island after a particularly challenging school year as teachers. After asking around, we decided that we wanted to stay on Sea Pines Plantation. We have the opportunity to stay at either Ketch Court Villas for $750 or Bluff Villas for $675. Now, the Ketch Court Villa looks nicer in the photos, the guest book comments are all very positive, and the week we want is one of the only 2 left available for the summer. Bluff Villas says that it%26#39;s only a 2 minute walk to the beach. Which villa has the best location? Which is the nicer complex? Exactly where are they located? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks! havhope

The Ketch court Villas are in the moddle of Harbortown and a bike ride or drive to the beach. Please see my post in the thread ';harbortown Yacht club'; about this complex.

Bluff Villas are nearer to the South Beach village, and the beach is walkable there. I think you may have to jog if you want to make it in two minutes, but it is much closer to the beach.

You%26#39;ll find more activity in Harbortown in the evening. After all how many times can you go to the ';Salty Dog';?

oops! See my post in Sea Pines Resort for the description of Ketch Court.

Thanks a lot Stan! I booked the condo in Ketch Court. I%26#39;d rather be in the middle of Harbor Town than right on the beach. We%26#39;re really excited about visiting HH for the first time. Are there any ';must dos'; for first time visitors? We%26#39;re bringing our bikes, so we%26#39;re planning on riding around the island. We love to snorkel. Any suggestions? We also LOVE to eat! Do you have any favorite restaurants, especially sea food? Thanks Again! Tiffany

See my list to the post What are the great restaurants on Hilton Head. Put ';Great Restaurants'; in the Search box on the top of this post and your%26#39;ll get some relevant threads. My answer to that question was posted in the middle of Janurary, so you might have to go to the second or third page.

It was a great thread since others chimed in and gave their ideas.

My husband and I are considering going to Ketch Court Resort. Can anyone give me information on it?

Thank you!
