Myrtle Beach new hotel

We%26#39;ve booked rooms at a new hotel/condo The Grand Atlantic...being a regular in the fall at Myrtle, I can%26#39;t quite place where this is located. Anyone know what it is near? Also can you EVER get discount tickets to any of the shows? Seems like some people have them...but we never do!! (Then there%26#39;s all those people selling time-shares...offering them.)

Any info is appreciated. Anything new thats fun since last October?

It is located right beside the Reef Resort. About 17th ave S. It is right up above crown Reef and compass cove.

About the only discounts that you will find, besides those offered by the timeshares folks, would be a locals discount (which that doesnt happen real often), or kids discounts...sometimes if you call and ask if they are offering any ';specials'; you may be surprised, as a number of these ';discounts'; are not published.

I dont think that they have opened yet...have driven by the property a few times...more to the south end of the beach. Last time by, they had pretty much completed that outside, except for the landscaping...looks nice...pretty large property, fills its block on the beach pretty well. I know that there are a number of new properties at that end of the beach.
