check your fav weather info website the day before you leave - the only way to know. weather anywhere is so fluid, you can check for the averages - the historical temps are accurate - but for the future check right before you pack. what is cold to some is warm to others. this time of year layers may be best for you - can add or delete as you want. I like it HOT, so 65 is cold to me!!

igetit, we just got back from Charleston on the 4th, staying at IOP. The week we were there was absolutely glorious. It was about 80 at the ocean each day with very few clouds, and in the low 60’s in the evening. No humidity at all. Perfect for keeping the sliding doors open all day, especially at night-love that ocean sound at night! The ocean was warm, also.

Bridegan 1 is right about www.weather.com. Check out their 10 day forecast, it proved to be pretty accurate for the time we were there.

Local forcast says temp is dropping this week. Calling for high of 82 tomorrow (Oct. 10), but expected to drop to 60%26#39;s by end of week, low in the evenings in the 40%26#39;s. Perfect for oyster season.

I find weather.com to be fairly accurate in predicting for this area.
