Sports Bars showing WVU games

We will be traveling to Myrtle Beach during Thanksgiving. WVU plays on ESPN Regional that Saturday. I was wondering where the WVU fans go to watch the game!

Thanks.

I can tell you of a few places to catch the college games, and we do have a number of WVU fans around here, so if its a regional game, I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll find those diehard fans!

Five O%26#39;Clock Somewhere is a really comfortable sports bar located in the heart of MB...HUGE tv with the ';main game'; and other tv%26#39;s with just about anything that is being televised (even pay per view) They are on Kings Hwy (Bus 17) and about 19th Ave N.

Murphy%26#39;s Law is another place where we get our sports fix...located just south of Five Oclock on Kings Hwy about 6th Ave S..

Bummz at the Beach always has the games on too, and its a great venue if there are some in your party that the game isnt of interest as if sits right on the beach....Ocean Blvd and 20th Ave N.

The Clubhouse in NMB was once billed as the ';Official WV Rest Stop';. There was a guestbook for West Virginians to sign. WVU, Marshall and Steelers items decorated the walls and ceiling.

The owner was from Dunbar,WV. He passed away last year. As of May it was still a WV hangout. In July I saw signs saying ';Thanks for the memories.'; Not sure what that meant. I hope it%26#39;s still there next trip. Might give them a call when you%26#39;re down there.

Oh yeah. The sandwiches were pretty good.

Thanks for the Info!

Spencer%26#39;s Sports Bar is another suggestion (good food as well)Enjoy!

We are coming down from Charleston, WV on 11/18. BIG Mountaineer fans, too!

We are going down to MB after we get home from the WV-Pitt game and we are heading back home on the 24th so we can be in Morgantown for the USF game.

I hope my next trip after this one will be to Arizona during the first part of January.

Good luck finding a place to watch the game. I seem to remember a place that was south of the AFB on Hwy 17 (left side of the road). The place was all ';done up'; in gold and blue. Sorry, I don%26#39;t remember the name.

Gooooooooooooooo Mountaineers!

Jim

Over Time Sports Bar in NMB had just about all the college games on this past weekend when we were there.
