Hi,
thinking about going to Folly Beach instead of the Gulf Coast panhandle - just trying to figure out how the weather compares in late December. We just loved being able to walk around barefoot and in t-shirts on the Gulf Coast on a few days of our stay in winter - is that kind of thing possible in Folly Beach at that time of year or is it miserably cold and windy?
Any other input on what Folly is like at this time of year also appreciated!

Don%26#39;t be too sure you can walk around barefoot. Anything between temps in the 80s and sleet is possible. But I think there is a good chance for some very nice weather. Nevertheless, the panhandle may be the better choice. We%26#39;ve experienced quite a difference in temperatures between SC%26#39;s coast and the northern part of FL, Gulf or Atlantic coast.
