nightlife in january

January can be a bit slow....but it really depends what part of January you are going to be here. I would say the middle 2 weeks of the month are probably the slowest of the year here.....if the weather warms quickly towards the end of the month, our spring golf season will start early. But with that being said, alot of folks forget that we do have a small college here, and locals that enjoy not having to fight the crowds ---- you may have to look a bit harder but the nightlife is there.....

Broadway at the Beach (www.broadwayatthebeach.com) is always a good starting spot....Crocodile Rocks always tends to be a popular place, even when the rest of the place is dead.....we%26#39;ll see how the Brick and Barrel and the Red Rooster stack up, as this will be their first winter here....of course, the ';gentlemen%26#39;s'; clubs are always plentiful.

Enjoy!

House of Blues %26amp; Hard Rock are open in winter months %26amp; book some decent name bands (well, OK, in winter, most are ';fallen from grace'; former name bands!)

I like happy hours at the Dead Dog (Parson%26#39;s Creek location) in Murrells Inlet. They put plastic curtains up %26amp; heat the deck...nice at sunset. Good local bands.

I, as well, would suggest Broadway at the Beach. It is a great place to go with lots of entertainment. Enjoy!
