Suggest Elliott Realty in North Myrtle Beach. northmyrtlebeachtravel.com (I think). They have great website, large selection of beach homes from 2 bedroom to accomodating up to 30 people.

Also try www.vrbo.com This will list some privately owned homes that you can rent. Very nicely furnished, great rates too.

You will probably discover there is a shortage of nice yet affordable rental homes (on or near beach) in central MB.
My advice is to look in Cherry Grove or North MB, or Surfside/Garden City. If you want a really laid back atmosphere, check out Pawley%26#39;s Island (mostly ALL beach-homes).
