family of 6 travel june2007

We are a family of six traveling to the Charleston area in june of 2007. we have 4 kids ages 3,15,12,10. What sites would someone recommend seeing in and around charleston? What resorts or hotels would one recommend that would be the caliber of a hilton? What restaurants would one recommend for families dining and restaurants that mom and dad could treat themselves a couple of evenings? Iknow these questions require some long answers, but I would truly appreciate any help that I can get in planning our vacation to this historic town.

You%26#39;ll want to do the Aquarium and the Children%26#39;s musuem. If the Riverdogs are in town, take in a game. Get there early as the kiddos can sign up to do ';wrestling'; , etc. between innings. Are you set on a hotel in Charleston or could you rent one of the many homes or villas on one of the islands?

We do not have any place yet to stay . What would you recommend? would a hotel in town be good or renting a home?

Consider renting a home or villa (cottage or condo) on Kiawah or Seabrook Island. These islands have wonderful accommodations and activities for families. They are an easy 40 minute drive on scenic roads into the historic district.

Contact ResortQuest, Pam Harrington Exclusives, Beachwalker Rentals, or Kiawah Island Golf Resort. You can also find many homes and villas for rent be owner on web sites like www.vrbo.com and www.greatrentals.com.

June is a wonderful time at the Charleston beaches - neither as hot nor as crowded as in July and August.
