Vacation solution for family w/ different interests

We are trying to rent a beachfront location for my dads 60th b-day. The problem: Mom %26amp; dad are actives who love golf and tennis. Brother and wife have 2 babies and need child friendly activities. Myself and sister like to hit the beach and pool and need some happening activities at night.(aka bars or clubs) Any advice? Right now we are thinking of renting a house on IOPWD. Thanks for any comments!

What time of year will you be visiting? Wild Dunes has good golf. Kiawah and Seabrook Island have great golf and tennis. Pools are readily available at Seabrook as long as you rent from someone who is a member of the club (you have to have an amenity card to access the amenities:-) ) and you%26#39;re going from April thru October. Some pools do shut down during the fall/winter. Kiawah has changed its pool rules. You%26#39;ll only have access if you rent a home with a neighborhood pool.

Bar-hopping will be limited on any of the islands. Going into Charleston is really your only option if you have to have ';night life';. Children%26#39;s activities vary from island to island. What ages are the kids?

Hope that helps.

If you rent on Kiawah from the Kiawah Island Golf Resort, you will have access to the Resort pools at Night Heron Park and at the Tennis Club. If you are renting from another provider or an individual owner on Kiawah, consider a cottage at Inlet Cove, which has a wonderful community pool and a river side dock with glorious views of the sunset. Other Kiawah areas, like Sparrow Pond and Atlantic Beach, also have community pools. Some homes have their own pools. Be sure to inquire when renting.
