TGI-Fridays.... just how GOOD are they?

We will be going to the one at NMB. How good is there food? Are there any ';must try'; foods there?

Also, we went to their website and it let you sign up for printable coupons. There are 8 of us going, and my husband, myself and my 3 kids are gonna be on one ticket, my brother in law on his own ticket, and the other couple on their own ticket, will they let us use 3 different coupons? The coupon says a free appetizer for a 15 dollar purchase per party.... that%26#39;s the tricky part, if we were all seated at 3 different tables, that would be three parties, we are all on 3 different tickets b/c we%26#39;re paying separately, so do they still consider us ONE PARTY?!?!

We%26#39;re hoping to each use a coupon.... does anyone know if they will let us do this???

Well, it%26#39;s really COUNTDOWN time for us! We pack tonight, go shopping tomorrow evening after work for non-perishible grocery items, and leave Tuesday night at 11:00 pm, should get there about 8:30-9:00 Wednesday morning.....

If anyone has any last minute tips for us, we%26#39;d appreciate them!

TGI-Fridays.... just how GOOD are they?

Haven%26#39;t been to MB TGI-FRidays. Been to others in couple different states and towns. Pretty much ';seen one, seen em all'; type operation.

Very similar to Applebee%26#39;s or Ruby Tuesdays if you%26#39;ve ever ate at one of those. Sports bar / pub type atmosphere. Family oriented.

Food is ok. Can%26#39;t think of anything ';must ';have.'; Wide variety of items to chose from. Maybe 80% of it is fried or covered in cheese.

Only major negative I can think of is slow service. I don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s a matter of poor service at any one location. Get feeling they pace the meal so the longer you%26#39;re there the more drinks and appetizers you buy.

Ask about the coupons when you ask to be seated. Eight at one table wouldn%26#39;t be a problem. Three bills at one table shouldn%26#39;t be a problem either. Being one party vs three to use a coupon would be up to them. Could go either way depending on who you ask.

yeah i totally agree with pop about the food. I went to the one in Myrtle Beach and it was exactly the same as the one in ohio. I think they have decent prices and i like there bugers but i dont care much for there steaks

Same here. Not crazy about the food. But if you have never been to one, then go. Nice variety of food, salads pretty good.

And I would think, that if you have 3 different tickets, that would be 3 parties. So print 3 coupons if you can.

I know you have talking about this trip all summer long! I can%26#39;t believe it is in just a couple of days! I bet you are so excited!

Heck - I%26#39;m excited for you!! Hope the weather is great and MB is everything you hoped it would be and more. But hey, the ocean is the ocean, no matter where or when you go. It is AWESOME!!!

I agree with the other two that posted. The food is pretty good. Nothing the lose no sleep over though. Just ry it and see what you think. Yeah they should let you use the coupons to.

Yeah Beachlady, I am REALLY excited! We leave tomorrow night at 11:00 pm!!! We done most all of our packing tonight, just gotta pack up the shampoo, toothbrushes, etc tomorrow before leaving!

The weather.com said earlier that wednesday and thursday was supposed to be nice, but a little rainy, and then friday and saturday is supposed to be in the 60%26#39;s and no rain.... so should still be nice, just a little chilly those days.

We should have a blast anyways!

Friday%26#39;s is not that great. It%26#39;s a chain restaurant that caters to mainly the bar with their appetizers. I would always go there for their appetizers and just sit at the bar with friends on a Friday night which was always fun.

The prices are pretty decent and it%26#39;s a good place for families. It%26#39;s comparable to Ruby Tuesday%26#39;s or Applebees which to me aren%26#39;t that great. These places tend to be a bit boring after you have eaten there so many times.

Depending on the cook that night your food could taste like a frozen entree that hasn%26#39;t been heated long enough.

-If there are any must trys it would be their appetizers. Most of them are pretty good. I don%26#39;t know about these new ones they have (Fried Macaroni and Cheese, and Fried Green beans) but the others are good. The loaded potato skins, wings and spinach dip are probably my favorite.
