Looking for a Ocean Front with Jacuzzi Room

I and my husband will be visiting MB Oct 18-24 we are looking for a room for the week with the following ammenities. First and foremost an Ocean Front Room, Second a room that has some comfortable seating such as a couch or couple of stuffed chairs and my husband likes a jacuzzi tub. Anyone have any suggestions we%26#39;ve always stayed at The Carribean on past trips but might like to try another hotel in the same general area. We%26#39;re going to try just winging it this time and finding a room once we get there, at this time of year thats not usually a concern. Thanks everyone

One that I have stayed at that has these amenties is the Holiday Sands South. It is a older propety undergoing major renovations to the outside and all. It anit nowere near the par of the Carribean. THis just has your basic rooms and amenties. It does have to amenties that you are asking for though. It is rated #17 in myrtle BEach threw TA. Also, yes it is oceanfront.

I do think the Comfort Inn and Suites located more to the south end of the beach has ';jacuzzi'; suites....and so does the Ocean Reef (the old MB Martinique) which is located at the north end of MB up in the ';avenues';area.....I%26#39;m sure there are a few more out there too.

Coming in in late Oct. you should be able to have your pick of what you want.

:)

lorandgary-check the reviews of the Comfort Inn, I don%26#39;t think they%26#39;re very good

Another hotel with jacuzzi tub would be Crown Reef. But I would look at the reviews first.

FYI stayed at the Crown Reef year before last and was not impressed. The lighting on the outside drew our attention, but we were dissappointed. The Yachtsman is still our favorite couple hotel. But is it closed for renovations now until spring. Check out the Sea Island Inn. It is new and the rates are reasonable.

Good luck!

since I was just there for a week, I was able to see the buildings and then read the reviews back home. It seems to me that some of the hotels that look the coolest from the outside aren%26#39;t reviewed too well. Not that the rating system from Trip Advisor is perfect, but still check out where a hotel is rated, and most importantly read all the reviews, not just how many stars they give. I%26#39;ve seen bad reviews because of a slow check-in
