HH with a 2 Year Old

DH and I lived in Savannah several years ago, so we%26#39;re familiar with the area and have made a couple of day trips to HH. We would like to visit this spring (April?) with DD (age 2) and stay on the island.

I have no idea where to stay. We%26#39;d like something (condo, villa, suite, etc.) with two rooms. DD would enjoy a pool. We%26#39;d like a kid-friendly area, but nothing too loud. Disney%26#39;s resort sounds cool, but we%26#39;re not VC members and don%26#39;t know anyone who is.

We don%26#39;t vacation every year, so we tend to splurge a little. Nice amenities are more important than saving a buck. We%26#39;d like to take a day trip to Savannah to visit the old stomping grounds and may consider also visiting Charleston for a day. Other than that, we%26#39;d hang out in the pool, beach, etc.

Thanks for your help!

Search the TUG Users group web site for timeshare rentals the week you are interested in (I don%26#39;t know the URL off hand...just google it). Any of the Marriott%26#39;s are very nice and will have all the amenities you need :-)

Good Luck.

The Marriott Timeshares and Disney do have childrens programs, but so do the Westin, Hilton hotels.

You can rent a condo using www.cyberrentals or VRBO.com, or use a rental company. I recommend the Vacation Company or Island Getaway services. Both are well run and do not charge the outrageous prices that Resort Quest or the Sea Pines company charge.

We have a local company called ';Baby Away'; who will also deliver a tub of toys for your DD to paly with while visiting us.
