Guys golf trip in March, looking for a good spot to stay

My Father-In-Law and I are heading the Myrtle Beach in March primarily to play some golf and we are looking for a good spot to stay preferably near the ocean. Last year we stayed at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront and it was ok, but we were thinking of staying someplace different this year. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try Grande Shores or Long Bay.Both are located in a great section of Myrtle and are right in the middle of all attractions. If you want more upscale try the Marriot at Grande Dunes.

Ditto to that! And by staying in that area, you are in walking distance to some great places to eat and drink. And the beachfront there is, IMO, one of the best in the area.

Check out Liberty Tap Room and Grille...real popular with the golfers! Great outside heated area with large screen TV...Villa Mare for Italian, Collectors Cafe or City Bar for some excellent food with a wonderful wine list...and Cheesburger in Paradise for some fun and good music!
