Where to stay and who to rent house from?

Hi everyone,

My dad, step-family, my boyfriend and I are going to be traveling to Hilton Head in August. Most likely the 2nd week. Where%26#39;s a good place to rent a house at? We%26#39;re looking to rent a house that can fit 12-14 people, beach access or within walking distance and stuff for everyone to do!

Any suggestions or help would be great!

Where to stay and who to rent house from?

From your description it sounds like you will be happiest in the Forest Beach area. They have anumber of 6 and 7 bedroom houses close to the beach available for rent.

You can walk from there to shopping and restaurants.

Another choice would be Palmetto Dunes which also have larger homes to rent. You can take a shuttle to Shelter Cove which has dining and shoping including a supermarket.

While I normally recommend looking for a private rental on the Rental by Owner websites. You will find the better larger homes by renting from a commercial renting company. My recommendations are the Vacation Company, Beach Properties, and Island Getaway.

They each have websites and you can find them by using a search engine like google.
